Outcomes and Research Collaboration<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">October 7, 2026&#8212;Coordinator General COMSTECH, Islamabad, Prof. Dr. Iqbal Chaudhary (HI, SI, TI), visited the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, Lahore, where he held a detailed meeting with Director CEMB Prof. Dr. Moazur Rahman and researchers.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Iqbal Chaudhary was briefed on the key outcomes of the international training programme, \u201cEnhancing Genome Editing and Crop Biotechnology Capacity for Climate-Resilient Agriculture in OIC Countries,\u201d held from 22\u201325 September 2026 at CEMB, in partnership with COMCEC, COMSTECH and SESRIC.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">The programme strengthened participants\u2019 practical understanding of crop genome editing and CRISPR-based technologies, while promoting interaction and networking among researchers from OIC countries. It also enhanced awareness of biosafety and responsible technology application and opened avenues for future joint research, knowledge exchange, and institutional collaboration.
