CEMB Congratulates Prof. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar (S.I.) on His Appointment as Chairman HEC
February 12, 2026—The Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) extends its heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar (S.I.) on his appointment as Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
To felicitate him on this well-deserved appointment, Prof. Moazur Rahman, Director CEMB, visited Prof. Niaz along with Prof. Dr. Shahid Baig (Health Services Academy, Islamabad), Prof. Naeem Rasheed (School of Biological Sciences, Punjab University), and Prof. Irshad Hussain (LUMS).
