Director General of Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency Visits CEMB Punjab University

March 5, 2026—Syed Abrar Hussain, Director General of the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak EPA, Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination), along with his team members Dr. Muhammad Rauf (NPM Pak-BCH, Pak EPA), Dr. Usman Khalid Chaudhry (Deputy Director, Pak EPA), Dr. Arslan Asim (Assistant Director, Pak EPA), and Mr. Israr Ahmad (Assistant Director, Pak EPA), visited the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB).
Director CEMB, Prof. Moazur Rahman, warmly welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the institute’s ongoing research initiatives. Accompanied by senior CEMB faculty, the Pak EPA team toured the laboratories to review ongoing research projects and the state-of-the-art molecular biology facilities at CEMB.
The visit provided an opportunity for knowledge exchange and strengthened collaboration between Pak EPA and CEMB in advancing environmental and molecular research in Pakistan.
