Dr Nadeem Ahmed is Associate Professor at the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, Lahore. He is head of Biopharmaceuticals and Proteomics Laboratory (ISO 9001:2015 Certified). His research interest is Biopharmaceuticals, Biosimilar, Anticancer proteins and fusion peptides, and drug delivery systems. He has developed technology for indigenous production of Taq Polymerase, HotStart Polymerase, Pfu Polymerase, Reverse transcriptase, 2X PCR Mix, qPCR Mix, 2X HotStart Mix. His developed Human recombinants therapeutics are Interferon alpha, Filgrastim, PEGfilgrastim, Proleukin, Thrombex. He has published more than 39 international publication. He supervised 52 M.Phils. Five Ph.D. and many internship students at CEMB. He developed first ISO 9001-2015 certified protein production facility at CEMB.
